“牛!!江澈我爱你!!”
Little Fatty was about to rush over to hug Jiang Che, but he was ruthlessly pushed away by Duan Jiamu.
Zhou Yi stared hard at the widening score and the lively atmosphere over there.
This couldn’t go on any longer.
He absolutely could not afford to lose.
His cold, calculating gaze swept over the members of Tong Sui’s team.
Finally, it landed on that mech department Alpha who had just been thrown into the mixture.
After Jiang Che finished, it was Huang Mao’s turn, whose results were mediocre.
Then it was the turn of that mech department Alpha.
Little Fatty patted him on the shoulder, “Do well! We believe in you!”
The Alpha trembled all over, cold sweat seeping from his forehead.
Little Fatty asked, “Why are you sweating so much?”
“I, I…”
The Alpha trembled, looking towards Tong Sui, seemingly wanting to say something, but was scared off by Zhou Yi’s fierce glare.
“Nothing.”
He nervously sat in the mech, slowly maneuvering down the track.
“Why is he so slow??”
“He wasn’t like this during training.”
Tong Sui furrowed his brow.
He looked at Zhou Yi next to him, who wore a scornful smile, saying, “It seems your team isn’t doing too well either.”
That Alpha made his way to the finish line, inching forward with every step.
When he got down, he hardly dared to look into their eyes. Little Fatty rushed over to hit him, only to be stopped by Tong Sui.
“Don’t be afraid, there’s still a chance.” Tong Sui looked at Duan Jiamu, “You can do it, right?”
“Mm, leave it to me.”
This was the final round of the group competition.
Duan Jiamu’s mech was leading from the start. Although not as impressively fast as Tong Sui, it was still very eye-catching, easily overwhelming all the Alpha competitors present.
Little Fatty cheered, “We’ve got this!!”
However, while navigating one of the obstacles, the mech controlled by Duan Jiamu suddenly veered off the track, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Little Fatty covered his mouth.
Jiang Che turned pale with fright.
How could Duan Jiamu make such a mistake?
Standing off to the side, Zhou Yi’s eyes glinted dangerously. He had long taken a dislike to this no-name Duan Jiamu but was only using this opportunity to teach him a lesson.
As the audience gasped in shock, Duan Jiamu pressed the emergency brake, yet the mech still did not stop.
His heart sank.
Someone was actually so malevolent.
Just as he was about to crash into a wall, Duan Jiamu despaired, waiting for the pain to come.
Suddenly, a mech fell from the sky.
A sturdy mechanical arm withstood the impact, forcefully bringing Duan Jiamu’s mech to a stop.
Inside the cockpit, Duan Jiamu was thrown against the display screen.
His head throbbed with pain.
A warm stream ran down from his temple.
If he had crashed into the wall directly, he probably wouldn’t even be able to stand right now.
After a long pause, Duan Jiamu opened the somewhat deformed cockpit.
The mech that saved him was smoking. With all his strength, Duan Jiamu opened the cockpit of the other mech.
Tong Sui leaned over the control panel, bent over and spat out blood, his face pale as a sheet.
He struggled to lift his head, seeing a blurred shadow backlit by the lights, and closed his aching eyes.
Duan Jiamu hurried over to help him unbuckle his seatbelt.
“Tong Sui, Tong Sui?”
Tong Sui nearly jumped into the mech the moment he saw Duan Jiamu go off track, bearing the impact of the collision, sacrificing his own safety to save him.
He clenched his fists and opened his holographic computer.
A respectful voice came through, “Your Highness, what orders do you have—Oh my God, Your Highness is bleeding!”
Duan Jiamu said, “Send the best medical team here immediately, and bring the Speaker to me.”
The Guard Commander replied, “Understood, Your Highness!”
Duan Jiamu took off his coat and, with a layer of clothing in between, lifted Tong Sui out of the cockpit.
A group of people rushed over, shocked by the gruesome scene.
Jiang Che’s eyes were filled with tears, “What happened to him, Jiamu?”
Duan Jiamu wiped away his tears.
“He fainted, hold him.”
Jiang Che took Tong Sui from him.
Despite being an Alpha, he was lightweight as if he carried no weight at all, and Jiang Che couldn’t understand how he found the courage to rush in to save him.
Zhou Yi strolled over leisurely, as if watching a show.
But Duan Jiamu pushed through the crowd, striding straight towards him, and punched Zhou Yi down to the ground.
A wave of screams erupted around them.
The two of them fought, creating a large empty space around them.
No one dared to intervene.
Duan Jiamu’s fists were fierce and heavy, leaving Zhou Yi’s face bloodied as he shouted, “Are you crazy? You dare to hit me? Do you know who my dad is?”
After a while, a team of uniformed royal guards disembarked from their ship.
The sight intimidated the freshmen.
Zhou Yi glanced over and saw the Speaker standing next to the Guard Commander. He exerted all his strength to push Duan Jiamu away.
He stumbled toward the Speaker.
“Dad, you have to deal with him! This beast actually dared to hit me!”
The Guard Commander’s face darkened.
The Speaker’s complexion turned ashen as he raised his hand and slapped Zhou Yi hard across the face, “Filthy thing, you dare insult the prince? Do you no longer want your life?”
Zhou Yi was stunned by the slap, “Dad, what are you saying? What prince? He clearly is—”
Just then, the Guard Commander stepped up to Duan Jiamu and knelt, “Your Highness, we apologize for being late, please forgive us.”
The Alphas standing nearby were also dumbfounded.
The royal guards only answer to members of the royal family.
Duan Jiamu said, “Tong Sui is my savior; you need to send someone to treat him immediately.”
“Yes,” the accompanying doctor inspected Tong Sui, “Your Highness, don’t worry. He is not seriously injured, just temporarily unconscious. We’ll take him to the Imperial Royal Hospital right away.”
